A great practice is seeking two well-qualified individuals to join them in beautiful West Michigan. We are an eight person private practice offering a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient services, including angiography/PTCA, nuclear cardiology, echo, including TEE and stress/pharmacologic echo, pacing/ICD/Bi-V implant, CHF management and lipid therapy.
The new members will share call that is essentially 1:8, which provides a terrific quality of life. Whether it is the beaches, lakes, woods, theatre or symphony, the area has just about anything an individual or family would want. Fine local primary and secondary schools with three major universities within 90 minutes’ drive (one 30 minutes away) are available. Chicago or Detroit is just three hours away if you feel the need to smell the traffic or see the Cubs or the Red Wings. Tired of the time spent sitting in traffic? Our physicians are mainly mid-west trained, including Northwestern, Michigan, Loyola, The Ohio State University, Wisconsin, Vermont and Pittsburgh. This is a collegial group with a great depth of experience. We use each other routinely as informal consultants and enjoy challenging each other in cath or echo conferences. We are looking for the type of personality that “works and plays well with others”. A salaried position is offered at a very competitive level for two years with presumption of partnership after that. We are interested in an invasive and/or interventional person(s), though a purely noninvasive person would be considered. Second year fellows or those just planning on entering an interventional year will be interviewed if they would consider an early commitment to this practice for their post fellowship job. A signing bonus or salary support for the third or interventional year would be included, making that moonlighting job unnecessary.
